US: PORTRAITS SERIES INTRODUCES TWO SEPERATE CHARACTERS AND HOW THEY SEE THEMSELVES WITH AND WITHOUT THE OTHER CHARACTER. EACH PHOTO IS MEANT TO REVEAL EACH CHARACTER INTEPTATION OF THEMSELVES ANS WELL AS PRESENT CONTEXT CLUES AS TO HOW THEIR WORLDS COLLIDE.
Mirrored is a series of eight photos that capture the surrounding world. Conceptually, each photograph relates to the idea of what can be seen and interpreted about A place BASED ON WHAT CAN BE SEEN THROUGH ITS' REFELCTION. Out of 200 pictures, 8 photos were edited so that the background was black and white and the main focus (being the mirrors ) is in color. Each mirror was positioned to capture the aspect of a certain space. The audience is intended to conclude where the photo was taken, why it was taken, and how it was taken. Through concentration and pondering on the objects within the mirror, a plethora of different themes and stories can be made.
